I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:20

Elder Patterson was born September 1976, to the union of then, Elder and Mrs. J. O. Patterson, Jr. He accepted his call into the ministry at age 16. After surviving a near fatal encounter with a high school gang.

In February of 1992, Elder Patterson gave his very first sermon in the Rushton M. Henley Chapel of Pentecostal Temple COGIC. Many Saints and friends from around the nation came to hear the sixteen-year-old minister profess the importance of making the choice between Holiness and Hell.

This choice has served as the theme of Elder Patterson's ministry from then until now and he strives to lead a life that exemplifies the choice that he has made to serve the Lord.

In August of 1997, he was ordained an Elder in the Church of God in Christ. At 21 years old, he was the youngest in his class.

Elder Patterson is a very high-spirited servant of Christ who daily devotes his life to fulfilling his calling. Following in the steps of his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Elder Patterson prays, fasts, and studies the Word of God daily in an effort to further understand and commit his life to the work that God has for him.

Elder Patterson wants nothing more than to have his cup to run over with the love of God and the spirit of the Holy Ghost. His ultimate desire is to have God's will fulfilled in his life.
